Another newbie (from Idaho)

Picked up a new ‘Ride’ yesterday. Have been doing a lot of research since the introduction and found the ‘S’ trim level met our needs. Went with the FWD model as wife and I spend April thru October in Idaho and the other 5 or so months in So. Texas so didn’t see the need for AWD. $35690 plus tax and delivery charge. Leaving for a 4000 mile round trip vacation next week so will be very interested to experience the road behavior and particularly the fuel mileage. Will hopefully report the findings when we return home. Traded in a 2018 Sorento EX which was a very nice vehicle but needed something with better access to the 3rd row and additional roominess. So far, I’ve been very impressed...more later

Nice...we’re just up the road in Middleton. Got lucky as the Nampa dealership had exactly what we were looking for in stock. Enjoy your EX when it arrives.

I heard that some people are having a hard time finding the Telluride spec they want. Has that been the case with you? Apparently Kia is working on sorting out the supply issues causing this.
I used the ‘build’ option on the Kia website and with the options I wanted and staying within budget, It was just a matter of finding the vehicle at a local dealership. Wasn’t too picky on color and when we found the ‘S’ model the other day, we made the deal. Guess we just lucked out. I can imagine there are some scrambling around if they’re wanting a specific model or certain options. But to answer your question, I found exactly what I was looking for the first visit to the dealership.
