Automated braking tech

Can't find any specifics on the brakes for the Telluride but I have come across some interesting driver assist aids. The advanced blind spot system will automatically apply the brakes to prevent you from cutting someone off should you not hear the warning sounds. For steep descents the SUV will also have a Downhill Brake Control system, which should help to reduce overall wear.
