Here's how the Kia Telluride's 0-60 time fares against the competition

Motortrend released their First Test of the 2020 Telluride and when it comes to performance it holds its own against some of the other SUV's in it class.

Once we got the Telluride to the test track, we recorded a 0-60 time of 7.2 seconds and a quarter-mile time of 15.4 seconds at 92.9 mph. We have yet to test the new Highlander or Explorer, but those times put the Telluride well ahead of the Volkswagen Atlas SEL Premium and a good bit behind the last Honda Pilot Elite we tested.
I understand that when you purchase a SUV like this you're not expecting a world beater or anything but it's good to see that the 3.8-liter V-6 engine is not slouch either.

Anyone planning to run a tune?
I used to own a 3.8L Genesis Coupe with the AlphaSpeed tune. If they release anything for the Telluride I might get it.
Personally I'm not adventurous enough to try and do that, but apparently Kia discussed putting the twin turbo V-6 from the Stinger into the Telluride. If that does happen in the future I think it would definitely peak more interest from people to try and tune it.

I think there's great potential for it to happen. Great for those wanting more towing capacity.

Yeah that engine in the Telluride would definitely make towing a lot easier on long and short trips on practical side of things. As for the tuners, I'm sure someone's going to be bold enough to make a performance version. At the very least I they should do a proper off road version.
