That would definitely be an interesting alternative for someone who wants a more off-road focused SUV. Especially since Kia doesn't have anything like that here in North America.
I think it will do well in the States, but I'm curious how Kia would think the Mohave would affect Telluride sales. That would definitely be an interesting alternative for someone who wants a more off-road focused SUV. Especially since Kia doesn't have anything like that here in North America.
Pretty cool looking ride. Kia definitely needs a more rugged looking option in its lineup. I've seen T-Rides and Sorentos dressed up for off road that look pretty cool but they don't look quite right to me.Kia revealed a redesigned version of the Mohave in Korea. For those who may remember, it's predecessor the Borrego, was briefly sold in the US between 2008-2009.
Nothing has been announced on if it will be offered in North America, but with the rise of SUVs it wouldn't surprise me if it does. My guess is that it will at least share interior cues with the Telluride.

I imagine that they're going to share platforms since the Telluride is the biggest SUV Kia currently makes and when the Mohave/Borrego was produced it was the biggest SUV they made. What about the Mohave makes you say its the Telluride's sibling?
Yeah, there's a lot of similarities in the interior and the design profile. Here's a video that shows what the Mohave looks like. You can see some similarities with the Telluride.
