Based on my experience with leasing cars over the past 30 years working both alone and with lease consultants, my thoughts are these:

• Based on an MSRP of about 48K ish
• Based on current interest rates
• Based on the manner I choose to lease:
1. -First Payment for Keys
2. -EVERYTHING Rolled into payment
3. -Excellent Credit
4. -36 months/12K miles

I believe the Monthly Payment should not be more than $500 per month. Granted this is a NEW Model... Granted that supply may be limited, at the moment... My current Lease is up in September so I have no issue letting the frenzy subside a bit. However, please note that I can take delivery any time b/w now and September without issue if we can agree on price. I am looking for Telluride SX model, Prestige package and perhaps an option or two but by no means will my full price be more than 50k. I like The Moss Green with Dune interior (maybe Blk interior); At my terms (above) and for $700+ per month there are plenty of vehicle options out there for me.... At $500 this car is significantly more appealing to me. Should this be acceptable at any point b/w now and September please feel free to reach out to me. (Dealers Please: I only want an SX w/prestige. I only want MOSS color with either Dune, perhaps Black. I dont want to ORDER a car.. I dont need to test drive it. Ive given you everything I want and that you may need...) Thx.

Have you tried checking autotrader? Sometimes dealers will list new stock with VIN's.

Hey Wilson, my issue is less about inventory (although it is pretty anemic at the moment) and more about price. For what these dealers are asking for this car i can be driving a vehicle with a much fatter MSRP... FYI, Cars.com seems to be pretty good about updating me when 'inventory' comes in... KIA behind the ball a bit as someone over there misjudged the demand for the higher Trim level on this one...

Sometimes with price I find its a matter of calling around, sometimes you strike a deal but whether the trade off of time spent to the cheaper price point is worth it, can vary.
