Approaching almost 3 months in my new big black S here in Pennsylvania. It is definitely the ultimate versatile family car. But we have had it back to the dealer five times already :( for minor issues. Early adopter whoas.

Welcome to the forum! What issues have you had?
Hmm, many minor quality issues to list. (nothing mechanical)

1 - the footrest/kickplate where you'd rest your left foot while driving just popped off 2 days after picking up the car. It's a 2 dollar piece of plastic. You'd think that would be an easy repair, but alas it is not. It's actually melted to the carpet and I guess during install they didn't melt it down properly. Unfortunately for Kia they had to replace the entire floor carpet to replace it. So it was a 1100 part to replace a small piece of plastic (of course it was covered under warranty) but it was annoying. Also, it took 4 weeks for the part to come in.

2 - the arm rest in the 2nd row passenger side bucket seat just fell off (wasn't being used and was always hanging limp) after a week. This has still not been replaced due to backorder. Again the replacement is far more expensive than it needs to be. Replacing the arm is not as simple as it could be. They need to replace the entire seat back. I have an infant car seat on that seat, so it hasn't bothered me much.

3 - The main USB port (the one that interfaces with the touch screen) stopped detecting usb cables. It wouldn't charge or enable CarPlay or Android Auto after 2 months. Part was replaced after waiting 3 days for order. I suspect they damaged this when removing it to get at the full carpet system in #1 above.

4 - Airbag malfunction light has come on once for 5 mins 2 months into having the car, but went off later. (not sure if this will be an on going problem.

All of the repairs have been covered under warranty to date, but I have been at the dealer five times in total to deal with the issue noted above and will be back once more when #2 is finally addressed. Other than losing GPS/music for a week when #3 happened, none were inconvenient, however they were concerning for a new car. It does seem that they have quality control in trying to get these cars out the door quickly. Also, the constant theme has been long delays in getting parts ordered. I also tried to order a trailer hitch setup and was told it was backordered to September. I hope I don't have a real mechanical issue and need to wait weeks for the part to come in. The car is beautiful and very flexible/convenient otherwise.

#1 and 2 although sound insignificant can seem worse than they are. Kia needs to address build quality
Agreed and for #1 it is worth noting that the dealer asked me to send pictures of the issue after the first visit to share with corporate. There was concern about a process issue at the plant.
Welcome to the forum, sorry to hear about the issues you've been having with your Telluride. What's been your overall experience like dealing with them so far?

With corporate? Not real useful tbh. They just check in with their customer service to see if the issue is resolved. I can't see that they have done anything noticeable. Maybe they put a little heat on the service manager at the dealer to be extra nice to me.
